EDENAILZ APPLICATION & CARE GUIDE
Press On Nails Application Method
Proper application is key for long-lasting wear (up to 1–3 weeks when using liquid glue).
Preparation Steps
- Clean the Nails: Wash your hands and nails with soap to remove oils and dirt. Dry thoroughly.
- Push Back Cuticles: Gently use a cuticle pusher tool to push back the skin at the base of your nails (cuticles). This is crucial for the press-on nail to adhere perfectly at the nail base and look natural.
- Buff the Nail Surface: Use a nail buffer to gently buff the surface of your natural nails. This step removes the nail's natural shine and creates a rough texture that allows the adhesive to bond stronger.
- Dehydrate the Nails: Clean the nails again with an alcohol pad or a nail prep solution to remove buffing dust and any remaining oil. Ensure the nails are completely dry.
- Select the Right Size: Match each EDENAILZ press-on nail to the size of your natural nails. Choose a snug fit—not too wide (exceeding the nail line) and not too small. If a size is slightly too large, you can file the sides to fit perfectly.
Application Steps
- Apply Glue/Adhesive:
- If using liquid nail glue: Apply a thin, even layer to the press-on nail (on the underside) and a small amount on your natural nail. Avoid excess glue to prevent overflow.
- If using gel adhesive tabs (for short-term wear): Apply the adhesive sticker to your natural nail, then press down to ensure the sticker adheres completely.
- Attach the Press-On Nail: Position the press-on nail right below the cuticle line (the base area of the nail).
- Press Firmly: Press the press-on nail down firmly for a minimum of 20–30 seconds, from the base to the tip, to ensure all air bubbles are removed and the adhesive is fully secured.
- Finishing: Repeat for all fingers. Once done, avoid contact with water for at least 2 hours and avoid aggressive hand activities.
EDENAILZ Press-On Nails Removal
Removal Method
Removal must be done carefully to maintain the health of your natural nails and ensure your EDENAILZ press-on nails are reusable.
Nail Removal Steps (Non-Acetone)
This method is recommended to keep your nails healthy and allows the press-on nails to be used again.
- Prepare Warm Water: Fill a small bowl with warm water (not too hot) and mix in a few drops of hand soap or cuticle oil.
- Soak: Submerge your fingers in the warm solution for 10 to 15 minutes. The warm water will help soften and loosen the adhesive.
- Loosen: After soaking, use a cuticle pusher or a dull toothpick and slowly insert it into the gap between the press-on nail and your natural nail, usually starting from the side.
- Gently Pry: Slowly work the cuticle pusher along the nail border. Never forcefully pull the nail off! If it is still difficult, soak for a few more minutes. The press-on nail will detach naturally once the adhesive loosens.
Post-Removal Care Steps
- Clean Up Residue: Gently buff any remaining glue residue on your natural nails with a nail buffer.
- Nail Care: Apply cuticle oil or hand cream to your nails and the surrounding skin for rehydration.
- Clean Press-Ons: The removed EDENAILZ press-on nails can be cleaned of residual glue and stored back in their box for future use.
